Ah, the joy of the three point plan captured as a three word "aide memoire"
Amongst my favourites are of course, "ready, steady, go" (the original and still the best?), "ready, fire, aim" (i.e. don't be a perfectionist before you punt your new idea/business/content out into the ether and THEN work out how to optimise it), and the curious "crawl, walk, run" (a Canadianism that perhaps says a lot about the differences between them and the Yanks)
But my current favourite is Map, Monitor, Engage from my old mucker Antony Mayfield of Open fame.
The idea being that if you want to engage with blogs as part of your PR 2.0 approach, first you have to monitor what they are saying by visiting their sites, but prior to that you need to map out who the most influential bloggers are in your area of interest. Recent example here.
So the three point plan for dealing with the emerging world of bloggers : map who the key ones are, monitor what their interests/angles are, engage accordingly.
Of course the best triplets also always alliterate eg Reduce, Recycle, Re-use.
But Map, Monitor, Engage will do for now on a Ready, Fire, Aim basis.
Thanks, Jon - I've commented back at Open on this, but I'm not sure my trackback has reached you...
